Daniel Cisneros

Hurdler Daniel Cisneros started in athletics in Fuenlabrada at 9 years old, under the guidance of Pedro García and Inés Jiménez, who is still his coach today. He competed in combined events until the age of 18, at which point he began to specialize in short hurdles.

His first Spanish title came in 2017 as U23 in 60 meters hurdles indoor, and four years later he achieved his first national senior medal, with the bronze also indoors.

2022 has been the turning point in his sports career, debuting with the Spanish national team at the Ibero American Championship in La Nucía, where he won the silver medal in 110 meters hurdles with a personal best of 13.53 that has put him on the international scene, in addition to climb to an absolute national outdoor podium for the first time.
