Eric Guzmán

The talent of the 800m runner Eric Guzmán González was rised in 2018 when in his first year as U18 won the silver medal in the European Championships of his category held in Gyór (Hungary), also getting the third place in the all-time Spanish ranking. That same year he reached the semifinals at the Youth Olympic Games held in Buenos Aires (Argentina) and obtained the silver medals in the Spanish outdoor and indoor championships.

In 2019 he achieved again two national silver medals, in an event full of young talent athletes who will fight to establish in the coming years in the elite of the Spanish eight hundred metres. As U20, he again achieved the national outdoor silver medal in 2020, and in 2021 he won his first indoor gold medal.

He trains with Juan Carlos Ginés and is currently in the U23 category, being part of the New Balance Team for another year.
