The young athlete Jaime Sancho, from Madrid, is one of the most promising youngsters in Spanish sprints. He began playing football and later to practice athletics, while at first prioritizing the first of the two sports, until at the end of 2019 he decided definitively opt for the second one, from which moment his first great results began to come.

In 2020 he climbed for the first time to the podium in a Spanish championship, in the U18 category, and the following year he swept his first season as U20, achieving the national indoor and outdoor titles in 200 meters, and reaching the final at the European U20 Championships in Tallinn, which in the end he couldn't run due to an injury, and a time of 20.98 that places him in the national top-3 all-time of the category.
