Marco Leonardo

Marco Leonardo has been opening his way among the best national middle-distance runners of his generation thanks to a progression that has led him in 2019 to be Spanish U20 indoor runner-up in 800 meters and fourth outdoor.

He has a personal best of 49.67 in 400 meters indoor in 2020, which gives him a powerful final sprint in middle-distance races and a significant margin of improvement in the 800 meters.

He trains in Valladolid with José Augusto Herguedas and, after his evolution as U20 athlete, he will seek to reach new heights within the U23 category, as well as gain an experience that allows him to settle in the elite of Spanish athletics.
