Tania Moreno Tania Moreno

She is the greatest promise of the Spanish female beach volleyball. She was born in Madrid, and has grown on the sand since she was 4 years old, under the tutelage of her mother and trainer Olga Matveeva, who was an international professional volleyball player for Russia and Spain.

At the age of 10 she began to compete at national level, and at 13 she started doing it internationally, called by the national coaches Pedro Paulo Costa and Francisco Alfredo Marco.

With 15 years, Tania was proclaimed Spanish U17, U19 and U21 National Champion, and since then she has been adding more national titles in both her category and in successive ones, in a case of unprecedented precocity in her sport.

In 2018, she has confirmed as an international rising star, winning the bronze medal at the Beach Volleyball U19 World Championships held in Nanjing with Daniela Álvarez as a teammate, and getting the 5th place in the Youth Olympic Games in Buenos Aires.
