Víctor Blasi

The middle-distance runner Víctor Blasi, born in Barcelona, joined the team of his current coach, Joan Montserrat, at the end of 2018 to face his move to the U18 category with him after having spent two seasons in the youth training group of the C.E. Universitari, while combining athletics with soccer in those early years.

That turning point allowed him to evolve as an athlete by leaps and bounds and achieve in 2020 his first Spanish national title in 1500 meters outdoor, and the silver medal indoor.

In his first year as U20, he has once again risen to the top of the podium at the National Outdoor Championship and in his debut with the Spanish team, he reached the 1500m final at the European U20 Championships, achieving the eighth place.
